Your data is processed on the basis of statutory requirements in order to fulfil the treatment contract between you and your psychotherapist and the associated obligations.

For this purpose, I process in particular the following personal data:

  • Title, first name, last name
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Contact details (phone, email)
  • Health insurance data
  • Marital status, occupation, educational background
  • Health data in particular (medical history, diagnoses, course of treatment, etc.)

Other treating physicians or psychotherapists may also transmit relevant data to me (e.g. referral letters).

The collection of health data is a prerequisite for your treatment.

The legal basis is Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR in conjunction with § 22(1)(1)(b) BDSG.

Your personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the performance of the treatment.

In addition, I am legally obliged to retain treatment records for at least 10 years after the conclusion of treatment.
